Laser Pro
|
|
It's no secret that many of the world's top sailors perfected
their skills in the Laser. Olympic Medalists, America's
Cup Helmsmen, and Collegiate All-Americans all raced the
ultimate one-design. With over 170,000 boats constructed
to date, the Laser is the Gold standard in single-handed,
one-design sailing. The Laser, designed by Bruce Kirby, was
built on the philosophy that the sailor wins the race, not
the boat. Every Laser in the world is identical. Strict class
rules guarantee that it is the sailor, not the equipment,
that makes the difference. Laser racing is a true test of
skill. The Laser Pro features a 15:1Harken vang, a 10:1cunningham,
a 4:1 outhaul, a Rooster mainsheet, and a 48" tiller extension.

Laser Radial Pro
|
|
The Laser Radial is the perfect boat for smaller single
handed sailors and youth sailors who want to start sailing
a Laser, but don't quite have the size to handle it. The
Radial uses a standard Laser hull and blades, but a smaller
sail and a shorter bottom mast section. The boat has all
the performance characteristics of a Laser with a less powerful
sail plan. All you need is a new lower mast and sail to make
a Laser out of your Laser Radial. The Laser Radial Pro features
a 15:1Harken vang, a 10:1cunningham, a 4:1 outhaul, a Rooster
mainsheet, and a 48" tiller
extension.
